Modern dating is not kind to someone like me. I’m not a casual person in any way except that I am usually in jeans or yoga pants, and it would be hard to get me into a pair of heels anymore. And when I say casual, I’m not just referring to sex. It is difficult to find a man these days that wants anything more than someone to distract him when he’s lonely and bored. I am not that girl and many men have found that out too late. I’m too much trouble for someone who isn’t looking to stick around for awhile. I’m a bit of an investment. It will pay off, but you really have to be willing to ride out the ups and downs to get the big payout.
